Description:  “Germanicvm XL” is a one-of-a-kind German music festival, and the first annual, celebrating the various music styles, from Classical to Pop in a traditional Las Vegas setting. Ranging from unique classical compositions to colorful Pop presentations of the works of German composers, singers and songwriters. (Germanicvm = Latin for German).  The focus of the music festival is to promote and foster renewed interest in German musical compositions abroad, and to show off Germany’s musical and cultural diversity of past and present German musicians. Created by Andreas R. Adrian, also known as Germany’s Honorary Consul to Nevada, the event also serves as a fundraiser to establish a permanent German school in Las Vegas. In conjunction with Maztery Music, a 5-day music festival was created, that will bring in guests from the across the country, Canada and Europe to celebrate some major German stars of the past and present in this celebration of German music.  In honor of Carl Philipp Emanuel Bach’s 300th. birthday (1714-1788), the festival will begin with a classical piano concert by Ana-Marija Markovina on September 3.  Followed by another classical inspired concert by U.S.-born singer Deborah Sasson, best known to Germans for her pefomances as Christine in “Phantom der Oper”, and her duet with former German husband Peter Hoffmann in “Scarborough Fair”.  “Die grosse Antonia aus Tirol Show”, featuring special effects and an enthusiastically and mesmerizing performance you do not want to miss. Saturday’s GRAND GERMANICVM RED CARPET EVENT will be the highlight of the festival. With such grand names as Costa Cordalis, Michael Holm, Deborah Sasson, Pascal Silva, Patricia Mathys, Antonia aus Tirol and newcomer Brandon Rockx, the 3-hour Saturday show will also attract other German celebrities for a red carpet walk prior to the show.
