Description: Witness the remarkable interaction between nature and agriculture.  Eagles & Agriculture  provides a once a year opportunity to experience the influx of bald eagles and other birds of prey that come to the scenic Carson Valley during the winter calving season. This remarkable interaction between nature and agriculture attracts photographers, birders and nature-lovers of all kinds who come to closely observe bald and golden eagles, hawks, falcons, owls, and a variety of other bird and wildlife species. A Ranch & Eagle Tour is the highlight of the weekend, which also includes a Raptor Dinner, several smaller tours and a photography workshop.  Eagles and Agriculture is hosted by Carson Valley’s agricultural and ranching community with the Carson Valley Chamber of Commerce, the Lahontan Audubon Society, University of Nevada Cooperative Extension, Western Nevada RC&D, USDA-NRCS, The Nature Conservancy, and the Great Basin Bird Observatory.
